Description: Copied from a original, this rifle is a hybrid of Maryland, Bedford Co. as well as Dauphin Co. making this a very cool rifle from that golden age timeframe. Stocked in sugar maple, Chambers late Ketland flintlock, single trigger and a 46-1/4". 40 caliber Getz barrel. A mix of raised & incise carving an the engraved, pierced Q shaped 4 piece patchbox give the rifle a elegant decoration!! A lovely target, small game / turkey hunting  rifle!!!

Description: Fine curly sugar maple, 48" long Getz barrel in 50 caliber, a custom flintlock, handmade brass mountings including the 4 piece engraved patchbox with 9 piercing, all tied together with splendid architecture and highlighted with sterling silver inlays and finely detailed, well executed relief carving. Nicely aged patina, very low sights, warm blended colors give the rifle the feeling of well cared for original !!
